It’s the worst thing that can happen to a parent, seeing your child die. Ohio father Nathan Steffel recently had to undergo that very thing. His little daughter Sophia lived to just six weeks old and never saw outside of a hospital room. In fact, him and Sophia’s mum never really saw what lovely little Sophia even looked like without tubes going in and out of her. So Nathan thought it might be nice to show his wife how Sophia should have looked. He took to Reddit and posted this:
He posted a picture of his little pride and joy and waited, assuming he’d get maybe a couple of replies and hopefully even one or two Photoshop efforts from kind Redditors.
And he certainly got one or two. And then a few more. And then a cascade of wonderful and unique different versions. These are perfect. Enjoy:

The response was astounding and it really touched Nathan. That so many people were prepared to work so hard to pay tribute to his poor little Sophia. He said of events:
“This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received as a long of love and support from a bunch of strangers.”
How fantastic. Please share this touching story with your friends and family today. Spread the love.
